The 4th graders had a fun-filled day this Wednesday by participating in Wagon's Ho! We are happy to share that the PTO was able to provide the rest of the funds needed to make this field trip completely free to all of the 4th graders. We could not do things like this without our IACS families supporting us!

Dances are not just for little ones! This month the PTO helped sponsor the Middle School dance for the secondary campus. Snacks, pizza, music, and, you guessed it, a photo booth made this middle school dance a total success. Huge shout out to our parents for donating snacks for the kiddos and to our amazing volunteers for stepping in and helping us with this event!
In December our amazing 4th grade teachers submitted a grant request for an all day field trip for all the 4th graders at no cost to them. The grant was approved and all the 4th graders spent the day visiting the Museum of Idaho, the Capitol Building, and the Discovery Center of Idaho. Look at all those smiling faces! With winter break right around the corner we thought it was time to do another teacher appreciation event. Shout out to Alison Adona for the amazing idea of a hot cocoa train! These two amazing ladies went to each classroom at BOTH campuses to give our staff a quick break and make their own delicious hot cocoa! Sprinkles, marshmallows, whipped cream and more were available to make their hot chocolate dreams come true :) We were beyond excited to be able to have a FREE Winter Wonderland dance at our primary campus! The cafeteria of the primary campus was decorated with lights, balloons, and beautiful snowflakes made by the Primary campus art club. We kicked off the dance with a dance from the Firebirds!! Snacks were kindly donated by parents and local small businesses and our amazing DJ was Mrs. Vanderveen. Last but certainly not least, we rented a photobooth for our families to capture this fun family event! Thank you to all who donated their time or snacks and to all the families that attended. We hope you had a fun family night and we can't wait to do this again :) In November we surprised our teachers at both campuses with a fun Apple Bar. Teachers were able to create their own delicious apple with any topping they wanted. Thank you teachers for all you do! We are so thankful for each and every single one of you. What have we done with funds so far? So far we have granted a few teacher grants that we will share about soon but we also were also able to purchase and treat our IACS students with Fall Goodie Bags! IACS PTO , parent volunteers along with some student volunteers assembled approximately 1,300 goodie bags for our students. These were distributed to students Friday. Nothing is better than seeing the smiles on the students faces. This is all made possible with the continued support you all have given us. We hope to continue putting smiles on students and staff faces :) Remember the dine-in/to-go fundraiser night we had at Texas Roadhouse earlier this month? Well, we blew the roof off the Nampa Texas Roadhouse! So much so that as an IACS family we surpassed any fundraiser night Texas Roadhouse has held thus far AND earned IACS staff FREE LUNCH!!! This wouldn't have been possible without our IACS families showing up and participating. Thank you for all your support! The Little Free Library donated by the Idaho Arts Charter School PTO as a dedication to Jackie Collins was installed at the Secondary campus! The students painted this at the end of last school year. They did an amazing job and this library will be a great addition to the community!
The new little free library purchased and donated by the IACS PTO has been installed at the primary campus! This was a dedication gift for Jackie Collins for her years of dedication to the kids of Idaho Arts Charter School! Students painted it at the end of last school year. There will also be one installed at the Secondary soon!!
